The 31st Annual Holidays in the City Grand Illumination Parade is the region’s most popular parade in Hampton Roads. The theme for 2015 is "Musical Madness". The Grand Illumination Parade will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 7:00pm in Downtown Norfolk.
We look forward to vibrant and innovative unit entries and we are very excited that you will be joining us to bring the Holiday Season to Hampton Roads! Your parade unit will be seen by tens of thousands of spectators lining the streets of Downtown Norfolk and by thousands more through the ABC 13 televised broadcast and rebroadcasts throughout the holiday season.
The program guide contains information vital to application process including set guidelines based on the type of parade unit you may enter. Please review it thoroughly before submitting your application as it contains deadlines, acceptance criteria, theme suggestions, tips and resources.
